It’s a pretty bold move to get a tattoo on your lip, but for Kendall Jenner, it seems not much thought went into the shocking decision. The supermodel is finally opening up about her latest ink, and let us know why she opted to tat the word ‘meow’ in her mouth!
Kendall Jenner’s lower lip tattoo was revealed by tattoo artist, JonBoy, at the end of September, but it turns out, she actually got the work done way back in July. The reality star says she hadn’t really planned on telling the public about it originally, but now that it’s out there, she’s sharing the story.
There’s no real meaning behind it, I just wanted to be able to say that I have a tattoo ‘on my face!'” she wrote on her website. “I have two others also: A Broken heart on one hand and a full heart on the other. I definitely want more even though I used to say I’d only get one if it meant something to me, now I have even more possibilities!”

She didn’t explain why she wanted to keep the tat a secret, but we love that she’s so open and honest about just wanting to get it for fun. As we EXCLUSIVELY reported back in September, Kendall’s tattoo faded quickly when she first got it drawn on, which is why she was back in JonBoy’s studio for a touchup in September.
As for the broken heart on her finger, we’ve seen before that it’s a matching tattoo with her friend, Hailey Baldwin, 19, who has the same drawing in red on her own hand. “The one of my right hand is a full heart to represent an angel and my left is a broken heart — kind of like the devil side,” Kendall explained. We can’t wait to see what she gets next!
