Believe it or not, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are heading for divorce. Expectedly, allegations and rumours are flying; while the world mourns at the loss of another happily-ever-after. The official line (courtesy Angelina’s lawyer) is that the decision had been made “for the health of the family” — a statement open to endless interpretation.
Already Twitter is buzzing and other celebrities are commenting on the split. Adele even dedicated a concert in New York on Tuesday to the Hollywood couple, telling her audience she was “shocked” by the news and that it felt “like the end of an era.”
A personal crisis for those involved (including the six Jolie-Pitt kids), the whole thing is no laughing matter, but the Robert Pattinson angle is a bit of a joke — one we can’t help but retell! While media outlets around the world are rushing to put out stories on the split, one of the first establishments to respond has been (hold your breath) Madame Tussauds in London! “We can confirm we have separated Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s figures,” the wax museum announced on Twitter, shortly after news of the Brangelina split became public. And it is Robert Pattinson to the rescue, since his wax sculpture has been placed between them. Whether as a vampire or in wax, RPatz is always a good guy!
